A dream and reality

There is always a point in our lives where we wish to go back to our younger selves and carry on dreaming that dream we wanted to come true. Whether it be to climb Mount Everest, to become a race car driver or even become a famous singer, but the difference between and reality is our choice. This choice to go back and chase that dream or to face reality and live a different, simpler and more realistic dream, but the choice depends on our passion for this dream. My dream? My dream was always to become a singer, an actress, or just someone famous but lacked the confidence to even give these dreams a chance. So here I am 18 and trying to figure what I want in life, going to University doing a course in Public Relations, the realist future dream, but even if I am on this path, I keep going back to my old dream. The biggest question, is if I really want to try for it or if I want to try something else? Do I have the confidence to give it a go? Do I have the passion to work hard enough to work hard for it and to succeed? These are the questions which one needs to ask themselves before they just jump into going for their dream because they must give it their all to know the answer to if they will succeed or not. The reason I ask these questions is because I think of all those young trainees in these Korean companies which are trying to make their dream come true. Even if they are hardworking and have the talent, the problem is that in life, some things just don’t work out and a dream could become just a dream in a couple of seconds. So, this dream of mine, the dream to become famous, to become a singer or an actress, the dream in which I keep turning back to, do I have the passion or the confidence to go after it? If I do, then I better start now, because making these mistakes earlier than later will give me time to start the simple life.
